Kubear Privacy Policy
Who we are
Kubear helps people record, organise, summarise and review personal and shared household money information. Kuberos operates Kubear and is responsible for the personal data described here. Send privacy questions or grievances to support@kuberos.in.
Data we collect
Kubear may collect phone authentication data, Firebase user identifiers, profile and household details, financial records entered by the user, consent and privacy actions, invite and shared-space context, selected receipts or documents, AI prompts and review outputs, security logs, App Check or integrity signals, and optional device-feature data when enabled.
Why we process data
We process data to create and secure accounts, save and sync money records, operate household spaces, process selected uploads, provide AI-assisted review through Kubear's server-side service, prevent abuse, respond to support or legal requests, and keep the app reliable. Optional consent is requested separately, purpose by purpose, before the relevant feature is used.
Optional permissions
Notifications, camera, photos or files, microphone, AI web search, market references and similar features stay off until the user starts or enables the feature that needs them. Declining an optional permission does not block core manual use.
AI and financial advice
Kubear may use Gemini through a server-side service for explanations, summaries and review flows. Kubear does not provide legal, tax, investment, insurance, lending or regulated financial advice. AI outputs are review material, not binding decisions.
Sharing
Kubear does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by Firebase, Google Cloud, Gemini infrastructure and service providers that operate the app. Household members can see shared-space data according to the chosen space and role rules. Personal entries remain private unless the user deliberately shares them.
Retention and deletion
We retain data as needed to provide and secure the service, handle support and meet legal obligations. The in-app deletion action creates a tracked request after the server accepts it; this receipt is not instant erasure. If the app is unavailable, use the manually verified process on the account deletion page. After verification, Kubear removes or irreversibly anonymises account data that is no longer needed, while retaining only records required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, audit integrity or disputes for no longer than necessary.
Your choices and rights
You can export a verified account copy, edit supported fields, withdraw optional consent in Privacy Center, request deletion, or contact support@kuberos.in for a request the app does not yet handle. Applicable statutory remedies remain available.
Security and changes
Kubear uses authenticated access controls, transport security, App Check or integrity checks, server-side secret handling and abuse controls. No service can guarantee absolute security. Material policy changes will be notified in the app, with re-acceptance requested where required.
Counsel review
This launch draft follows the current product scope and official Indian sources. Qualified Indian counsel review is required before final public production publication.
